Community Involvement

AGED CARE VISITS

Our visits to Crowley Village once every 2 months are well anticipated by the residents there. The joy our visits bring is a sight to be seen as those residents who have had to give up their pets get to enjoy a brief opportunity to pat, feed and talk to the dogs who visit. We are always on the look out for volunteers who would like to join us in these visits. Dogs must be well mannered, fully vaccinated, flea and tick treated and well groomed.

HOSPITAL VISITS

Delta Pet Partner teams – trained volunteers and their accredited dogs visit a hospital where establishing contact with a companion animal enhances the quality of patients lives and assists in patient treatments, with health professionals to achieve specific goals.
